Tips with black eye liner?

No matter how hard I try I can't seem to make eyeliner even. Or if it is somewhat even it looks too thick.


I like the look of it but I just can't seem to perfect it.Tips with black eye liner?
Are you using liquid or pencil? It is actually better to use liquid eyeliner. Make sure you apply in in front of a mirror. Don't apply too much pressure to the brush, because that can make your lines curve. Don't use just one stroke to line the bottom or top of your eye. Try doing half, resting and then doing the other half. This works for me. Make sure that your not closing your eyes to tight, and that your eyelids are still.Tips with black eye liner?
The liquid ones i find more easy to use. But just keep trying babe. Make on straight line without hesitanting. Seach youtube for videos. I find them very helpfull.

if u r still in the stage of practising...its better to use pencil eye liner. some liquid eyeliners look really good however, if u think ur not good at lining with a pencil then there's a big chance that u wont do a good job with liquid.





good thing abt liquid eyeliners are that u can actually get the thinnest eyeline. but u have to have a pencil for the bottom lid and water line. u can never use liquid for those two things.





wut i wud do is, until i got some practice with liquid, i wud line my eyes first with the pencil and then trace is with the liquid liner. like the previous answer said, u have to do it line by line, not just one stroke.





putting concealer or eye primer helps too, especially if u have oily lids. and when u r using a liquid liner, always be prepared for mistakes so have a wet cutip/cottonbud at hand.





u definitely need both ur hands so make sure u have a steady mirror that's fixed. not something u have to hold using one of ur hands.

you can apply it bit by bit, in very short lines, starting from either corner of the eye you're more comfortable with. then redraw the line little by little.
i always had that problem too .... then i got liquid eye liner .... dont freak out !! i know your thinking it will be harder but no its not.... here is how i do it.. i take the liquid eye liner and act like i am outlining the top of my lashes.... it keeps a thin line but thick enough to see it....then i use regular eye liner for the bottom of my eyes
I use the eyeliner and then I use a black shadow with a tiny eyeliner brush to even it out so it looks nice.





You can get a much nicer line with the eyeliner/shadow combo-its a trick I learned from someone at MAC cosmetics for a formal- also make sure the pencil is SHARP and fresh it will help you get a smaller finer line.
