No matter how hard I try I can't seem to make eyeliner even. Or if it is somewhat even it looks too thick.

Are you using liquid or pencil? It is actually better to use liquid eyeliner. Make sure you apply in in front of a mirror. Don't apply too much pressure to the brush, because that can make your lines curve. Don't use just one stroke to line the bottom or top of your eye. Try doing half, resting and then doing the other half. This works for me. Make sure that your not closing your eyes to tight, and that your eyelids are still.Tips with black eye liner?
The liquid ones i find more easy to use. But just keep trying babe. Make on straight line without hesitanting. Seach youtube for videos. I find them very helpfull.

if u r still in the stage of practising...its better to use pencil eye liner. some liquid eyeliners look really good however, if u think ur not good at lining with a pencil then there's a big chance that u wont do a good job with liquid.
good thing abt liquid eyeliners are that u can actually get the thinnest eyeline. but u have to have a pencil for the bottom lid and water line. u can never use liquid for those two things.
wut i wud do is, until i got some practice with liquid, i wud line my eyes first with the pencil and then trace is with the liquid liner. like the previous answer said, u have to do it line by line, not just one stroke.
putting concealer or eye primer helps too, especially if u have oily lids. and when u r using a liquid liner, always be prepared for mistakes so have a wet cutip/cottonbud at hand.
u definitely need both ur hands so make sure u have a steady mirror that's fixed. not something u have to hold using one of ur hands.

you can apply it bit by bit, in very short lines, starting from either corner of the eye you're more comfortable with. then redraw the line little by little.
i always had that problem too .... then i got liquid eye liner .... dont freak out !! i know your thinking it will be harder but no its not.... here is how i do it.. i take the liquid eye liner and act like i am outlining the top of my lashes.... it keeps a thin line but thick enough to see it....then i use regular eye liner for the bottom of my eyes
I use the eyeliner and then I use a black shadow with a tiny eyeliner brush to even it out so it looks nice.
You can get a much nicer line with the eyeliner/shadow combo-its a trick I learned from someone at MAC cosmetics for a formal- also make sure the pencil is SHARP and fresh it will help you get a smaller finer line.

I absolutely LOVE experimenting with eyeliners (I'm the girlfriend of the guy whose account this is, NOT the guy, so you can trust me!!) So, i think that with your colouring, you should try using green eye shadow with a really shimmery silver liquid liner, or kohl. Because your used to wearing black, you wont feel like your eyes are lined properly at first, but it will look great. Alternatively, a brown liner with gold eye shadow will really compliment your hair, and bring out your eyes if they are a greyish blue (like mine!) I have blue eyes and i wear white eyeliner it makes the eye appear more sparkly and it is differant i would try benefit high beam along the brow bone and your eyes wil look fab as i have the same colour hair and eyes and i am a beauty therapist i think people can go a bit mad with eyeshadow and this look acheives a clean crisp look
A navy would be pretty in an 80s way and not too crazy or like an electric blue if you want something dramatic. And if you are doing a color like navy, you can just do like a gray smokey eye but if you use bright eyeliner i would not wear eyeshadow or just wear something natural.

Outside- for starters try putting your elbow on a flat and firm surface. I start from the right and go slowly across right under the lashes.
Inside- Same thing. put your elbow on a flat surface and open your eye lid and just go left to right or right to left smoothly.

MAC Smoulder eye pencil - very black and very creamy and easy to go on.
Waterproof- Urban Decay 24/7 in Zero, but it's not very black. If you have fair skin then you will do fine. But if you are darker, the black will look brownish.
Makeup For Ever black eye pencil - it's black and waterproof but not as creamy as the other two.

i doubt green eyeliner would ever be a better choice than black or brown especially if youre trying to enhance your look but still look natural, i would definitely go with a brown eyeliner and dark brown mascara. if you really want your eye color to pop, use a warm toned brown (or black) to contrast with the cool tones of your eyes

You def. have the right idea. However, little accents of green or maybe blue liner would make your eyes really pop. Keep using your black or dark brown liner on your top lid, but add a little bit of blue or green on the corners of your eyes (closer to your nose) %26amp; on the ends of the eyes. (Even try applying the colored pencil on your bottom lid, not too dark, but it has to be somewhat noticable) The colors will really make your eyes pop. It has to be pencil, liquid blue or green might look like too much on the eyes.
Another thing you can try is getting eyeshadows (MAC is very good) %26amp; getting a cornered brush %26amp; apply it on the same spots you would with the blue liner. MAC (%26amp; other brands) have tons of choices of colors, so have fun with it. You never want to over-do it, so always keep the colors to a minimum unless you know how to properly apply it.

Another thing you can try is getting eyeshadows (MAC is very good) %26amp; getting a cornered brush %26amp; apply it on the same spots you would with the blue liner. MAC (%26amp; other brands) have tons of choices of colors, so have fun with it. You never want to over-do it, so always keep the colors to a minimum unless you know how to properly apply it.

I've heard you aren't supposed to put it on the waterline, but sometimes it looks better there. It all depends on who you are.
It would be easier if you had pictures of one on the waterline, and one underneath.

its better as close to the lash line as possible, and I would suggest a waterproof pencil. Rimming inside is good only on top, avoid the bottom though.
Also, black may be too bold depending on your complexion. If you're fair: only use it for a dramatic night look;
I would recommend a purple liner that has a more red undertone. It will complement your blue eyes and really define them nicely.
If you don't know what you're looking for, go to a counter or a sephora and have a make up artist help you.
It should be used along the bottom lash line and then wet a q-tip and run it underneath the last line to clean up. When you do it like this it will last longer and make your eyes look perfect!
I do it closer to the water line as well.

One of my good friends had red heair and she wore black eyeliner and black mascara for years. She decided to try brown mascara and eye liner after seeing it used in a magazine and she is much happier with the look. It is less harsh and the colour looks lovely with her red hair. I have red hair also and I would highly recommend brown eyeliner, especially since its your first time wearing any. I have red hair also and I would highly recommend brown eyeliner, especially since its your first time wearing any. Black would be great if you were trying to do some dramatic eyes for a night out, but brown would compliment your eyes and would be great for everyday use. Also, purple is great. It goes very well with red hair. Also, I always wear brown eyeliner, but I have to have black mascara. I won't go brown on that!

However, if you're gonig out somewhere special or want to acheive a retro look i'd use the black eyeliner. I'd Rimmel and Miss Sporty for eyeliners, they're not too expensive, very effective and they also come in a range of colours.

Today they have so many books on how to do your eyes and still look beautiful, and you can too!

OK Ur 14 not 25 look just enjoy Ur youth, I'm a young mom and i can remember all the other grls wearing make up and wanting to look older. if u really want to where it i would just go with the mascara because if applied correctly it can double as a liner and it will look natural, and thats the best i think for ur age. oh dont be afraid to ask ur older sister if u have one or even ur mom if u feel comfortabel. when applying the mascara make suer u are getting right at the roots and make suer to wiggel the brush as u go up to the tips. oh and u should try to buy if u dont have one already, a eyelash come, that helps with the clumps and separating the lashes so they look good. another tip i think would b if try to match the color of ur hair with the color of the mascara some companies do make a brown/black so that might help too. if u really want to know the good tips for make up and what to do and how to keep ur skin looking good as u get into hs try to buy alluer magazine its got really good tips. hope i helped. and remember the natural look is always in and boys do like it they wont admitt to it but its true. trust me i know! best of luck

I say if you like your look, then keep it but all mascaras and eyeliners come in shades: Jet Black (or black), Brown/Black, and Brown. Maybe you could swap to use Brown/Black so that you still look like you, but your eyes dont look too dark.
You shouldn't wear makeup in the first place, it ruins your skin and ,most people look way prettier with out make up.
Maybe go to the mall and have the department store advise you. They can help with makeup. :)

Just apply on your lower lashline or below your lower lashline...from the outer corner inwards about 3/4 of the way. just don't over apply! practise makes perfect !

I've heard you aren't supposed to put it on the waterline, but sometimes it looks better there. It all depends on who you are.
It would be easier if you had pictures of one on the waterline, and one underneath.

its better as close to the lash line as possible, and I would suggest a waterproof pencil. Rimming inside is good only on top, avoid the bottom though.
Also, black may be too bold depending on your complexion. If you're fair: only use it for a dramatic night look;
I would recommend a purple liner that has a more red undertone. It will complement your blue eyes and really define them nicely.
If you don't know what you're looking for, go to a counter or a sephora and have a make up artist help you.
It should be used along the bottom lash line and then wet a q-tip and run it underneath the last line to clean up. When you do it like this it will last longer and make your eyes look perfect!
I do it closer to the water line as well.
ON the lash line. Run your eyeliner pencil just over the root's of your bottom lashes and put a little mascara on. Maybe some white eyeliner on your water line, to make your eyes look bigger,and more awake.

Not really. It just might depend on what the base color of your lips are. I remember in high school girls used to use black liner and then clear gloss and I don't think that's the best look. If you're working with clear gloss I think you should either have a nice brown or taupe liner (depending on your skin tone).
Now if you're doing a Halloween look with black lips (or someone who prefers dark lip colors) then, by all means, use the black liner.

Not really. It just might depend on what the base color of your lips are. I remember in high school girls used to use black liner and then clear gloss and I don't think that's the best look. If you're working with clear gloss I think you should either have a nice brown or taupe liner (depending on your skin tone).
Now if you're doing a Halloween look with black lips (or someone who prefers dark lip colors) then, by all means, use the black liner.
no. its not wrong, but i dont think that its a good idea. the ingredients in lip liner are made to not harm you if you swallow them. since eyeliner isnt made to put on the lips, then they might get sick. if you are trying to go for the emo goth look, then try applying black lipstick around the edges of your lips with a lip liner brush.
Its is definitely not wrong to wear black eye liner on your lips. It will do no harm to your lips. However it is not something flattering, and it does not look good, but if you like doing it, than keep on doing it. That's just my opinion.

if the eyeliner is good enought for your eyes i dont see why not try on your lips it wont damage them..but it might now last much..depedning on what type of liner you are using I use liquid..on my eyes..if you use pencil liner it might last longer...

you cant go wrong with dark matted colours. the smokey eye look is great and so easy to achieve when you know how.
youll need: eye primer (you dont NEED it but its best for keeping your eyeshaddow put), two shaddows (one light, one dark), eyeliner, eyeshaddow brush and mascara.
firstly youll need to prep the lid, this is the key to keeping your eyeshaddow put all day long. this will also stop your shaddow melting into your eyelid crease after a few hours. to do this, start wil an eyeshaddow base/primer. try MAC's prep and prime eye or fresh freshface perfecting eye primer.
then youll need to apply eyeliner. if your going for a typical black, brown or grey smoky eye, apply liner in one of those colours above your lash line, making the line thicker in the middle of the eye. if you want to go for something a little different ie a jewel-toned colour, then violet makes a gorgeous smoky eye, so line the eyes with a purple, blue, or deep green liner. again, mac make great eyeliners but i also like ones by tigi, maybelline and loreal, so experiment untill you find something you like using.
then blend in the colour on the bottom of your lashes. for colour on the bottom (a key smoky eye look) youll need a lighter eyeliner. the key is to smudge it slightly. you can also apply a bit of shaddow to get a full smudge effect. personally, i find rimmel eyeshaddows great and theyre reasonably priced too!
next, apply a light base colour. again, the key to the smoky eye is pairing a lighter base with a darker hue. i prefer nice cream shades for my base which are very readily available. sweep a light, shimmery shaddow over your lids to your brow bone. try stilla's whipped eye shaddows. they are of a kind of mousse consistency and really do seem to stay on forever. taupe and pearl are must-have colours.
now blend in the darker colour, but keep the colour below the crease or youll risk looking like you have two black eyes. now that you have the base and eyeliner on, its time to get the smokey effect. you need a darker shade of eyeshaddow for this. using an eyeshaddow brush, blend in colour starting at your lash line and blending up. make sure to blend colour into the lash line so the eyeliner dissapears. stop the deep colour at the crease. then just double check your work to check that your eyes match and you can even blend the colour with a cotton bud if you want.
almost done. finish with several coats of volumising mascara like dior's show mascara or loreal paris volume shocking mascara.
...one more thing, remember to keep your lips to a nude colour otherwise you may end up looking a bit like a drag queen lol.

apply primer as described previously. apply eyeliner under the eyes (above eyelashes) and a thin line above the eyes close to the eyelashes. grab your eyeshadow brush that is thinnest and dab it in the eyeshadow. raise your eyebrows, find the crease of your upper eyelid (where you might feel the bone for the top of your eye socket), and then take the brush and line it with the eyeshadow. do it as if you're holding a pencil and you're using it to draw on your eyes. do this to make a half circle above your eyes. (don't go too far out to the side of your face when doing this step).
to do the bottom part of the eyeshadow, take out your thin brushed eyeshadow brush again and dab it in your black eyeshadow. (tap it on the rim to get rid of excess eyeshadow that could fall off the brush and leave unattractive black spots of eyeshadow under your eyes or on your cheeks!) with one easy motion, start by putting the brush under your bottom lashes and sweeping it from side to side in a straight motion to create the point under the eye on both sides.
touch up by making sure no excess eyeshadow fell onto unwanted places on your face and adding a little concealer to seal the deal. and you're done!
COORDINATE YOUR COLOURS:
if you are wearing shaddows from the brown family, try a peach blush. if you are wearing a more colourful shaddow like violet or blue, use a berry or rose coloured blush. keep like colours together: muted with muted. bright with bright.
make-up for brown eyes really has no rules. when selecting an eyeliner, you can go with dark browns for a natural look and black for a more intense look. you can frame your eyes with tons of mascara and not end up looking all panda eyed. play it up and emphasize it all you want.

you should wear some blue eyeliner- black may make you look to gothic. I would recommend a natural tone, and for color, do a little bit of silver... what color are your shoes and accessories? if you're going to do nails- french manicure. if you want to add a little pizazz, have them do a silver outline on your nail to match w/the silver makeup- make sure that you do it lightly, just to accent.... don't want to be looking like a glittery clown!!! if your hair is long, pin it up using the rhinestoned clips. hope it works for you!!!

you should wear some blue eyeliner- black may make you look to gothic. I would recommend a natural tone, and for color, do a little bit of silver... what color are your shoes and accessories? if you're going to do nails- french manicure. if you want to add a little pizazz, have them do a silver outline on your nail to match w/the silver makeup- make sure that you do it lightly, just to accent.... don't want to be looking like a glittery clown!!! if your hair is long, pin it up using the rhinestoned clips. hope it works for you!!!
i think smokey eyes would look really pretty. especially b/c you have pale skin. have fun! (and either play up your lips or eyes, dont do both!) with smokey eyes, try a light/nude/pale pink gloss.

Use a dark/black eyeshadow and a eyeliner brush and smudge it into your actual lash line. It looks really nice.How do i put on smokey black bottom eye liner?
You should try doing a mixture of both. Line the waterline (the part before your bottom lashes) but also LIGHTLY trace the pencil along the lower lashline. If you want it smokey, you can take your pinkie finger and smudge the liner (the liner below your bottom lashes) from the inside of your eye to the outside of your eye.
I would put on a pencil liner and then go over it powder liner like loreal's hip eye color or a black eyeshadow on with a liner brush... it sticks better and looks great!!!!
ok u just put it on the line and put it on until u can actually see and then u should put on mascara and that will help bring it out a lot more than u will think but it works.

Well, actually the top one is got on at least 2 sets of false eyelashes. The 2nd one is got the smoky eye effect %26amp; looootsss of eye liner (thick)
Use your powder on your eyes. Do your shadows. To do the look of the 2nd one, you get 3 shades of brown. Use the medium one next to your lashes. Now use the darker one, on the crease %26amp; blend it outward to your hair line a tad. Only on the right side, %26amp; use the light one, like a beige on your browline, using light their will high light your eyes.
then come on with your eye liner. Start with a thin coat. If you want more, you can always go back %26amp; thicken it. Now use your mascara %26amp; I highly recommend the mistake proof mascara Avon just came out with from Julian Dempsey - Patricks's wife. It's absolutly great %26amp; I only used one coat %26amp; it looked like 2. !! that's great !!
Anyway, Go on %26amp; use another coat of liner if you like then apply thick layers of mascara.

From your pic it looks like they used a pearly white under the brow bone and then a gold shimmer shadow over the entire lid and under the eye. The thing to do with the liner is use a black pencil liner for starters. Follow your lash line with the pencil liner and then use a q-tip to smudge it in an upward direction. Follow up with a black eye shadow and an angled brush following the same line on the upper lid and going halfway down the lower lid. Again smudge with a q-tip. Lol, not the easiest eye in the world but after a little practice you to totally get it down :)
basically just close your eyes, use one hand to stretch the eyelid out and use the other hand to apply it. same with bottom if you want.
go on youtube and type in how to apply eyeliner. TONS of tutorials.

Follow up with a black eye shadow and an angled brush following the same line on the upper lid and going halfway down the lower lid. Again smudge with a q-tip. Lol, not the easiest eye in the world but after a little practice you to totally get it down :)
basically just close your eyes, use one hand to stretch the eyelid out and use the other hand to apply it. same with bottom if you want.
go on youtube and type in how to apply eyeliner. TONS of tutorials.

You can try borax. Just put it in the wash with your detergent. If it doesn't come out don't put your clothes back in the dryer. That will only set the stains in deeper. You could also try oxy clean. That might work.
if it is the whole load, dump it all. if it is in one or two in a couple of places, use lime juice or some destainer should do the trick. or dye the entire cloth in black!
I would try using a make up remover in the laundry. There has to be some where you can buy it in a big amount.
I swear by a product called mean green
This is the best!
Its bought at Dollar General and it's cheap.
It even takes grease out of my husbands clothes...
You can buy it in a spray there for about 2.50
or a gallon jug for $5
I buy the gallon jug and refill my bottles
Spray the spots down well with it, then add some to the water along with the detergent let set for awhile then wash as usual..
Let me know if you try this and the results
This stuff does not lighten the clothes in any way like bleach or some other products will.
I have used it in steam cleaners for the carpet with ideal results.
This stuff even removes soap scum
